I have
concerns regarding any proposal to augment the South East Flows Restoration
Project.
In my opinion we need comprehensive consultation to allow all stakeholders and, in particular landholders, to understand exactly what is being proposed and what the impacts are likely to be, particularly in the South East.
I’m concerned
that the consultation process as currently designed will see a repeat of the
State Government’s Clayton’s approach to consultation on the Mining Bill.
Online consultation is not good enough for a proposal with the potential to
impact land holdings in such a direct and detrimental way.
