Tailem Bend Cricket Club will share in the $22.5 million Stronger Communities Programme following its successful application for $14,500 for a change rooms, storage facilities and their canteen.

Mr Pasin said the program is aimed at funding projects that deliver social benefits and form part of the Coalition Government’s continuing commitment to strengthen communities across Australia.

“Our local communities are the heart of this great country and the investment in local projects under the Stronger Communities Programme is about invigorating these communities and ensuring they have the facilities to remain vibrant, great places to live into the future.

“The Tailem Bend Cricket Club is a wonderful organisation that means a great deal to its members, plays some great cricket and adds important social benefits to the Tailem Bend community.”

“This is exactly the sort of project that brings community together, strengthens social connections and builds community participation. It’s all part of creating vibrant and viable communities into the future.” Mr Pasin said.
