Member for Barker, Tony Pasin has visited Millicent North Primary School to present our National Flags to the school.

“Ensuring children have an understanding of the importance of civics and national symbols and institutions is an important part of their education,” Mr Pasin said.

“As a Member of Parliament, one of the duties I undertake is to ensure that community groups and organisations such as Millicent North Primary School are able to access symbols of our national identity, such as our National flags, the National anthem and information on the operation of our national institutions.”

“Symbols such as the Australian Flag celebrate our values of tolerance, mateship, respect, diversity and freedom of expression,” said Mr Pasin.
