Member for Barker Tony Pasin is encouraging irrigators interested in the Federal Government’s Water for Fodder Program to get their applications in before 9:30 am tomorrow.

Mr Pasin said thousands of applications have been received since the program opened on Wednesday morning, meaning the first round of the program (40 GL) is oversubscribed.

“Anyone interested in taking up this opportunity for water at $100 per megalitre need to get their applications in as soon as possible, before 9:30am tomorrow,” Mr Pasin said.

Eligible farmers will need to buy the water in 50 ML lots, with a maximum purchase of 100 ML.
