Congratulations to Barossa winery Torbreck Vintners who last night won the Regional Exporter of the Year Award at the Australian Export Awards this week in Canberra.

Member for Barker Tony Pasin MP said the Australian Export Awards celebrate the international success of local companies like Torbreck Vintners, recognising their export achievements and contribution to our economic prosperity.

“It’s fantastic that yet another Barker business has been recognised at these prestigious awards,” Mr Pasin said.

“Torbreck Vintners exemplify the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation and I hope they can inspire other small businesses to take a punt and become exporters.”

“Businesses like Torbreck Vintners represent the very best Australia, and South Australia, has to offer – from small, family-owned businesses to listed corporations- South Australian businesses are making a tangible contribution to the nation.”

“Exports create more Australian jobs and strengthen our economy. That’s why the Our Government continues to provide more opportunities for our exporters to secure new market access across the globe.

“Torbreck Vintners join a list of Barker businesses such as Almond Co., Thomas Foods International and Blue Lake Milling being recognised through these awards in recent years.”

“Congratulations to Torbreck for the significant contribution they make to the Barossa. They should be truly proud of their achievements.”
