Member for Barker Tony Pasin MP has delivered$9,150 in Federal Government Funding for the Cadell Pistol Club to upgrade their facilities thanks to the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program.

“Built in 1972 the toilets at the Club are so degraded they are not currently used,” Mr Pasin said.

“With 22 members it’s important that the club has facilities that work.

“The Cadell Pistol Club is one of two remaining sports/activity clubs in the town.  It’s a great project that will help the Club and the township remain vibrant into the future.

Mr Pasin said the Stronger Communities program is aimed at funding projects that deliver social and economic benefits and form part of the Coalition Government’s continuing commitment to strengthen local communities across Australia.

“Our local communities are the heart of this country and the investment in local projects under the Stronger Communities Programme is about just that – strengthening communities and ensuring they have the facilities and the infrastructure to remain vibrant, great places to live into the future,” Mr Pasin said.
