Member for Barker Tony Pasin’s annual Barker Christmas Card competition has been another success with hundreds of entries received from across the electorate.

Students from years one to five were invited to submit artwork that represented Christmas in their region.

“We’ve had a fantastic response, with outstanding entries coming in from across the electorate. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them all, although it was not an easy task to select the winning entries.” Mr Pasin said.

Four entries were selected by Mr Pasin to feature on his 2020 Christmas Cards, one from each region of the Barker electorate: Barossa, Limestone Coast, Riverland and Murray Mallee.

An artwork by Benjamin Boehm, a student from the Light Pass Primary School was chosen by Mr Pasin to appear on the Christmas card to represent the Barossa.

Benjamin was presented with a prize as part of the end of year school presentations.

“I congratulate all those students who took the time and effort to create artwork that demonstrated what Christmas means to them, in their region,” said Mr Pasin.
