Federal Member for Barker, Tony Paisn MP has today announced that he is launching the #AnzacAtHomeInBarker campaign.

The campaign encourages Australians marking Anzac Day at home to share their Anzac Day experience by uploading a photo of their commemoration to social media.

The current coronavirus situation means we can’t gather in large numbers like we normally do to mark Anzac Day.

“Staying at home on April 25 feels instinctively wrong to Australians, but I believe that by sharing how we commemorated ANZAC Day at home, we will show our veterans how very proud we are of their service and sacrifice,” Mr Pasin said.

Mr Pasin is encouraging Australians to share their ANZAC stories, photos and videos on social media, using the hashtag #AnzacAtHomeInBarker.

“This virus can’t stop us from thanking and honouring our veterans,” Mr Pasin said.

Any further information regarding this campaign is available by emailing tony.pasin.mp@aph.gov.au or via Tony’s Facebook page or website.
