Member for Barker, Tony Pasin has secured $10,000 for the Millicent United Soccer Club thanks to the Coalition Government’s Stronger Communities Programme.

The funding will contribute to much needed new flooring in the clubrooms.

“I congratulate Millicent United Soccer Club on this successful funding application. It’s a worthy cause and I’m so pleased to be supporting it,” Mr Pasin said.

The Stronger Communities Program provides not for profit organisations access to funds for small capital projects aimed at strengthening communities by improving community facilities.

“This is a great example of the Federal Government supporting local grassroots sporting clubs which are such an important part of regional communities.”

“For the club’s members to be proud of their clubrooms it’s helping to strengthen their pride in the community. It’s a small but important way that the Coalition Government is helping to build stronger communities in our regions.” said Mr Pasin.
