Member for Barker Tony Pasin has invited community members to a meeting in Frances as part of his continued effort to ensure local voices are heard in Canberra.
“I try and be as accessible as possible as I travel around the electorate,” Mr Pasin said.
“I am most effective in Canberra as a representative for Barker when I have a clear understanding about what is important to my constituents.
“I have mobile offices at farm fairs, field days and shows to ensure that I’m available as much as possible to speak with my constituents in person and whilst these events have been impacted by Covid-19, I’m looking forward to reinstating these community meetings.
“I’m encouraging residents in Frances and surrounds to come along and share their views with me.”
The community meeting is being held at the Border Districts Netball Clubrooms from 6pm on Thursday, November 5.
This is part of a series of community meetings held around Barker.
