Students and Teachers from Redeemer Lutheran School visited Canberra earlier in the month including a visit to the Australian Federal Parliament.

A total of 56 Year 7 Students travelled to Canberra where they spent a week exploring our nation’s capital.

Although Member for Barker, Tony Pasin, was unable to welcome these students to Parliament House because the Federal Parliament was not sitting, Mr Pasin caught up with the students last week in the Barossa to discuss their trip and his role in Canberra.

“I was deeply impressed by the enthusiasm and knowledge the students from Redeemer Lutheran School showed for the democratic process of our Government,” said Mr Pasin.

“I was pleased to present these students with certificates recording their time in Canberra and I commend the teaching staff for taking advantage of the opportunity to show the leaders of tomorrow our national capital.”
