Member for Barker Tony Pasin is encouraging local childcare providers to apply for a share in more than $21 million in grant funding available through the Community Child Care Fund (CCCF).

Mr Pasin said local families would benefit by having more child care options because the Morrison Government was investing in child care and supporting local providers. Mr Pasin said local child care providers could

“The CCCF can be accessed by child care providers to create more child care places, increase local child care participation, and support the business’ viability,” Mr Pasin said.

“The latest round of funding is now open and I encourage child care providers in Barker to apply for the grants.

“Our Government is making it cheaper and easier for families in Barker to access child care.

“Since our Child Care Subsidy was introduced last year, out-of-pocket child care costs for families have fallen by more than 10 per cent.

“We can afford to provide support to families because we’re keeping our economy strong.”
