The Purnong community will benefit from a Federal Government grant for the Purnong District Hall Tony Pasin announced today.

“I congratulate the Purnong District Hall Incorporated for receiving the grant through the Federal Government’s ‘Saluting Their Service’ Commemorations Programs to honour the service and sacrifice of our Australian Defence personnel,” Mr Pasin said.

The Purnong District Hall will receive $3,837 to upgrade the surrounds of the Anzac Arch at the hall.

“The Purnong District Hall is a fantastic organisation with a well-deserved reputation in the community. I’m pleased that they are able to access this funding for these projects.”

Mr Pasin said that this grant is funding projects that directly support and honour our veterans and their families and the sacrifices they have made.

“The Australian Government will continue to invest in and support to organisations helping veterans and their community.”
