The Renmark community will benefit from $29,548 in Australian Government grant funding that will help the Renmark District RSL and Bowling Club with roof restorations.

“I congratulate the Renmark district RSL and Bowling Club for receiving this grant through the Australian Government’s Veteran and Community Grants program,” Tony Pasin said.

“The Renmark district RSL and Bowling Club has a well-deserved reputation in the local community for its commitment to recognising and supporting those who have served and sacrificed for our nation.”

Member for Baker Tony Pasin said these grants are funding fantastic projects across Barker that directly support our veterans and their families and have an ongoing benefit for the veteran community

“The benefits of this Veteran and Community Grants funding will also flow on to the local community,” Mr Pasin said.

Ex-service and community organisations, veteran groups and private organisations that contribute to the health and welfare of the veteran community are encouraged to apply for funding through the DVA Veteran and Community Grants program.

“The dedication and hard work of organisations such as the Renmark district RSL and Bowling Club ensure veterans and their families receive essential services, support and opportunities allowing them to continue active roles in their local communities,” Mr Pasin said.

“In this funding round, just over $700,000 has been awarded to 37 projects across the country.”

“The Australian Government will continue to invest in and support to organisations helping veterans and their community.”

Veteran and Community Grants are now available through the Australian Government’s Community Grants Hub.
