The closest headspace service to the over 10,500 young people (10-24 years of old) living in the Gawler and Barossa region is Edinburgh North, located some 45kms away, with little in the way of public transport options for the journey.
We the undersigned, call on the Federal Health Minister, the Hon. Mark Butler MP to establish a headspace facility in the Barossa to service the ever-increasing need for mental health and wellbeing support for local youth.
