Diversity of events in the South East

I write to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of culture that our region has to offer.
On Friday I joined the South East community in enjoying the entertainment at the Fringe in Mount Gambier.
The next day it was an early start, driving to Keith to attend the annual Keith Diesel and Dirt Derby where I enjoyed a day of quite different entertainment.
Now that I’ve removed the glitter from my hair, dust from my ears and the diesel from my face, I can reflect on what a diverse array of things to see and do in our wonderful part of the country.
Most importantly the community spirit and volunteerism that brings these events together, enabling us all to enjoy them.
