Member for Barker Tony Pasin has given to the Murraylands Annual Christmas Hamper Appeal.
“It’s a really busy time of year for everyone as we attempt to get things at work tided up before taking leave and spending time with friends and family, but it’s important to take the time to remember the true spirit of Christmas and help those in our community who might be doing it tough.
“Donating to a cause like this is a great way to help those who might need a little help at Christmas,” said Mr Pasin.
“I make the effort to donate to local appeals across Barker at Christmas; initiatives like this where donations are distributed locally. By donating to the Murraylands Annual Christmas Hamper Appeal I know that my donation is going to make a difference to local family in the Murraylands community,” Mr Pasin said.
Last year the 2018 appeal was able to reach 250 grateful families and provide toys for 300 children across the Murraylands through the efforts of ac.care, St Vincent de Paul Society and The Salvation Army.
