BARKER’S BEST PHOTO COMPETITION LIMESTONE COAST WINNER ANNOUNCED
The winners of the 2025 Barker’s Best Photo Competition have now been announced.
Budding amateur photographers from across the electorate were invited to submit entries
reflecting this year’s theme “Barker’s Primary Production - Tears and Triumph”, celebrating the
hard work, resilience and achievements of local primary producers.
Over 100 photographs were received, capturing the unique landscapes, people and produce that
make Barker one of Australia’s most productive regions.
The most outstanding photograph for the Limestone Coast was submitted by Michele Hamilton.
Federal Member for Barker Tony Pasin MP met with Michele to congratulate her and present her
prize - a framed copy of her winning photograph and a $250 voucher from a local business of
Michele’s choice.
“Congratulations to Michele and to all entrants who took part in this year’s competition,” Mr Pasin
said.
“The standard of entries was once again exceptional. It’s always inspiring to see Barker’s incredible
landscapes, people and industries through the lens of those who live and work here.”
The winning photographs from each region - Limestone Coast, Riverland, Barossa and Murray
Mallee - will be showcased on Mr Pasin’s website and featured in a travelling exhibition throughout
