The winning entries for Member for Barker Tony Pasin’s annual Christmas Card competition have been revealed, with artwork featuring on Mr Pasin’s Christmas cards sent to more than 82,000 letterboxes across Barker.

Among the standout entries was an artwork by nine-year-old student Jenaya Mudge from Barmera Primary School, representing Christmas in the Riverland. Jenaya’s artwork has been featured on the inside of this year’s Christmas card.

Mr Pasin recently visited Barmera Primary School to congratulate Jenaya and present her prize of a set of Derwent Fine Art Pencils to nurture her artistic talent.

“Congratulations to Jenaya and all the students who participated in this year’s competition. It’s fantastic to see the creativity and pride for their local region displayed by these young artists,” Mr Pasin said.

“It was an absolute joy to visit Jenaya at Barmera Primary School and personally deliver her prize. I hope this recognition inspires Jenaya and other students to keep exploring their artistic abilities,” he added.
