EASTER COLOURING COMPETITION WINNER RECOGNISED

Member for Barker Tony Pasin has recognised winners of his 2026 Barker Easter Colouring Competition during a visit to Murray Bridge Community Childcare.

The competition was open to children aged 6 years and under from childcare centres and early education providers across Barker.

One of the winning artworks, submitted by Billie, was selected from entries received from across the electorate.

“It was a pleasure to visit Murray Bridge Community Childcare and congratulate Billie on their wonderful Easter colouring-in entry,” Mr Pasin said.

“There was a great response to this year’s competition and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the creativity and effort that went into the entries.”

As part of the visit, Mr Pasin presented the winner with a prize and hosted an Easter party and Easter egg hunt for the children at the centre, along with afternoon tea for staff and parents.

“I wish all families across Barker a safe and happy Easter and hope this special time is enjoyed with loved ones,” Mr Pasin said.

“I thank all the centres and families who took part in this year’s competition and helped make it such a success,” Mr Pasin said.

Each entrant will also receive a small gift in recognition of their participation.
