The winning entries for Member for Barker Tony Pasin’s annual Christmas Card competition have been revealed, with cards set to arrive in 82,000 Barker letterboxes in the coming weeks.

Among the standout entries was an artwork by Year 6 student Dusty Prior from Faith Lutheran College - Junior School in Tanunda, representing Christmas in the Barossa. Dusty’s artwork has been featured on the inside of this year’s Christmas card.

Mr Pasin recently visited Faith Lutheran College to congratulate Dusty and present his prize of a set of Derwent Fine Art Pencils so Dusty can pursue his obvious artistic talent.

“Congratulations to Dusty and all the students who participated in this year’s competition. The creativity and pride for their local region displayed by these young artists was a credit to them,” Mr Pasin said.

“It was a pleasure to visit Dusty at Faith Lutheran College and personally deliver the prize. I hope this recognition encourages Dusty and other students to continue exploring their artistic talents,” he added.

The Barker Christmas Cards and accompanying 2025 Calendar will be delivered by Australia Post to households across Barker in time for the festive season.
