PASIN PLEDGES FUNDING SUPPORT FOR SOLDIERS’ MEMORIAL GARDENS KAPUNDA

Member for Barker, Tony Pasin MP has returned to the Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens in Kapunda with a commitment to deliver $65,000 in funding under an elected Coalition Government.

Mr Pasin who has been a strong supporter of the project said the funding would be instrumental in seeing the rejuvenation project at the Memorial Gardens completed.

“Almost every community in Australia has a war memorial, each one as important as the next. Memorials link the past to the present and ensure that the sacrifices paid by those who served our nation to up-hold our values are remembered,” Mr Pasin said.

“By bringing the community together to gather and honour those who served, we are strengthening our local communities,” Mr Pasin said.

“Dutton Park in Kapunda is an exceptional community space and the volunteers who have been quietly and steadily working at restoring the Soldiers’ Memorial Garden at Dutton Park should be commended for their dedication and commitment.”

“That’s why, I have secured $65,000 to assist with the completion of this project should the Coalition Government be elected. This funding will support the exceptional work being done to honour those who served and provide a space the whole Kapunda community can be proud of,” Mr Pasin said.

A Dutton-led Coalition elected Government will strengthen local communities, create a safer, cohesive society and get Australia Back on Track.
