The winning entries for Member for Barker Tony Pasin’s annual Christmas Card competition have been revealed, with artwork featuring on Mr Pasin’s Christmas cards sent to more than 82,000 letterboxes across Barker.
Among the standout entries was an artwork by nine-year-old student Aubrey from Reidy Park Primary School in Mount Gambier, representing Christmas in the Limestone Coast. Aubrey’s artwork has been featured on the inside of this year’s Christmas card.
Mr Pasin recently visited Reidy Park Primary School to congratulate Aubrey and present her prize of a set of Derwent Fine Art Pencils, encouraging her to continue developing her creative skills.
“Congratulations to Aubrey and all the students who participated in this year’s competition. The talent and pride for their local region displayed by these young artists is truly impressive,” Mr Pasin said.
“It was a pleasure to visit Aubrey at Reidy Park Primary School and personally present her prize. I hope this recognition inspires Aubrey and her fellow students to keep exploring their artistic potential,” he added.
