STATEMENT - Declaration of the Poll

Thank you to the people of Barker for once again putting your trust in me. It’s an honour and a privilege to represent Barker in the Federal Parliament, a responsibility I have never and will never take for granted.

The declaration of the result in Barker by the Australian Electoral Commission is a chance to reflect on not only the honour and privileged for me personally but a reminder of how incredibly lucky we are to live in a democracy with free and fair elections.

I look forward to continuing to be a frank and fearless advocate for communities across Barker.
