INCIDENT IN TASMANIA

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has sent messages of support following last week’s boating incident in Tasmania. The kindness shown has meant a great deal to me and my staff member.

Today, I returned to South Australia and resumed my duties.  My thoughts remain with my staff member, who continues his recovery in Tasmania supported by his fiancée.  He is expected to return to South Australia later this week.

I look forward to welcoming him home, where he can continue his recovery surrounded by family and friends. I know many people across the community join me in wishing him all the very best as he recovers from his injuries.
