TONY PASIN MP LAUNCHES THE BARKER CHRISTMAS GIVING PROGRAM

Member for Barker, Tony Pasin MP is encouraging the community to embrace the true spirit of
Christmas and give to those in need by donating to the Barker Christmas Giving Program.

“It has been a tough year for so many members of the community. The cost of living crisis
continues to make life very difficult for households and unfortunately many families are looking at
going without this Christmas,” Mr Pasin said.

“I am asking local residents, community organisations and businesses who have the means to
give back and support families in need by donating gifts for children this Christmas.”

Gifts can be placed under Christmas Giving Trees, kindly donated by OneFortyOne, located at each
of Mr Pasin’s electorate offices:

• 27 Commercial Street East, Mount Gambier, and
• Shop 5, Murray Bridge Green, Riverview Road Murray Bridge

Both offices are open for donations between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday until Friday 12
December.

Gifts will be distributed in the fortnight leading up to Christmas Day in partnership with the
Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer Program.

“Christmas is a time to show care and compassion to those needing a little extra help in our
community. Even the smallest of donations can contribute to making the Christmas season a joyous
time for a family in Barker who might be going through a tough time,” Mr Pasin said
